Joy will be the Republican and Conservative Party Candidate
in the Six County Capital Region District
Schenectady, NY… Liz Joy today announced that the Rensselaer County Republican Committee unanimously endorsed her campaign for Congress in New York’s 20th District. This is the final Republican endorsement in the District for Joy, following Warren, Saratoga, Schenectady, Montgomery and Albany Counties – all of which unanimously endorsed her candidacy. Joy has also won the backing of the Conservative Party in the 20th District.
Rensselaer County Republican Chairman John Rustin said, “On behalf of Rensselaer County Republicans, we are excited to endorse Liz Joy for Congress. Liz is a fighter and has worked hard to earn support in all corners of the Capital Region District. She will be a very strong voice for the people of Troy in Congress.”
Liz Joy said, “I am so grateful for the support of Rensselaer County Republicans. I am fired up to turn this seat red and defeat career politician Paul Tonko. When I am in Congress, I will focus on policies and ensure funding into Troy that will help drive down crime, support our police and law enforcement and stop the flow of fentanyl that is devastating so many of our families by securing our southern border. The stakes have never been higher and the people of the Capital Region deserve honest representation and someone who will fight for them every single day in Congress. I look forward to carrying the Republican and Conservative Party banners and helping to secure victories up and down the ballot this year.”
